This solution will only work though if you have at least 1x USB 2.0 port on your computer. It is from Dell, but I installed it on my MSI motherboard and it works like a charm! I'm now able to use all my USB 3.0 ports on Windows 7. They pulled it out from their website already but managed to still find it so I thought I'd put it up here. Now I found a tool that will modify your existing Windows 7 bootable flash drive and add native support for USB 3.0 to the installer. This means that if your keyboard and mouse is plugged into a USB 3.0 port, you basically cannot control it. Windows boots up normally and it will get all the way to the desktop view, but there is no way to navigate to check on things or make changes.A major issue with installing Windows 7 on a modern computer is that USB 3.0 ports do not work.
